Show Your Good Past
Employers give a lot of attention to the Work History section of a resume. It's one of the first things they look for after they see your Job Objective. They want to know about your track record, where you've been and how long you stayed there. What they're trying to figure out is: Are you a stable person? What are your demonstrated talents? And most importantly, would you be a good fit for the job opening they have?
A well-presented Work History section is clearly important. Building one that maximizes your experience is what this chapter is all about.
